A couple of weeks ago our class sent letters and decorated hearts with candy to a friend of mine on a Navy ship docked outside of Haiti. Our package has not yet arrived, but I just received an email from Nick and he wanted to let us know that he is anxiously awaiting its arrival. This picture was taken on the island of Gonave after airlifting almost 3,000 meals to the locals.
